How can I see how much a hotel room costs?

Once you have entered the dates of your stay, the rates will be clearly displayed alongside the available room types.


What does the price include?

When booking, check all the facilities listed under the room type to see if breakfast or anything else, such as taxes, are included. This information should also be included in your confirmation email.


What does it mean when the ‘no availability for dates requested’ message appears on my screen?

This message can mean that a hotel has no rooms available for the night you've selected or that the hotel requires you to stay 2 or more nights in order to make your particular date available to you. If you increase the number of nights, you may find that rooms are available.


Can I make a reservation without using a credit card?

A valid credit card is needed to guarantee the reservation with the hotel. However, some hotels do accept payment via other methods such as EFT or cash upon your arrival. Be sure to check with the specific hotel as to what their rules and regulations allow.


Can I use a credit card that is not my own to book?

You can make a booking using someone else’s card provided you have their permission. If this is the case please mention the cardholder’s name, and that they have given permission for you to use their card, when you make your reservation.


I am entering my credit card details, when will I pay?

Generally, your credit card is never charged immediately. The payment for your stay is processed by the hotel during or after your stay, unless otherwise stated in the hotels policies, in the room description under their terms and conditions or in your confirmation.


Does the hotel need a deposit or a payment in advance?

Most hotels do not require an advance payment or deposit. If they do you will find the details under the hotels policies page on the hotel’s booking page and in your confirmation email. Ensure that you abide by their terms and conditions so you do not forfeit your booking.


How do I know my reservation is confirmed?

As soon as you have completed the booking process the confirmation page appears. This page shows all of your reservation details, including the booking number. You should also receive and confirmation email with all your booking information.


Where can I find the hotel’s telephone number and/or email address?

If you are online, the hotel’s website should have this information. Telephone numbers can be obtained via directory services provided you know that name of the hotel you are looking for.


After booking, all of the hotel’s details, including telephone and email address, are provided on the online booking confirmation which is sent to you via email.


How can I be sure that a hotel will accept my pet?

It is best to contact the hotel where you want to stay directly and enquire about its current pet policy.


Can I cancel and/or amend my booking?

This depends on the specific hotel’s amendment and cancellation of bookings policy. Be sure to read these terms and conditions carefully and then follow the hotel’s procedure of how you can go about amending or cancelling your booking.
