Hippo is aware of and investigating fraudulent activity aimed at misleading customers, by SMS and email, to believe they can get a “Hippo loan” after paying a fee or purchasing airtime. Hippo does not charge customers and our partners do not ask for upfront payments on loans. We urge you not to divulge your details or make any sort of payment.
