Advantage Motor Protector (AMP) has been in business since 2001. Halls Financial Services acquired AMP in 2015 and the AA of South Africa bought a stake in AMP in June 2017 and since we have launched a suite of AA Warranties products.
Our association with the AA gives us a relationship with a partner who shares our values, who has a long and credible history and is a brand admired among South African consumers.
AA Warranties enjoys national representation and is recognised as a leading role player in the motor industry. It specialises in developing, distributing and administering motor mechanical breakdown warranties, top-up mechanical breakdown warranties, tyre and rim warranties scratch and dent maintenance plans and service and maintenance plans.

A vehicle is a lifeline for most of us, and without our vehicles, we would be stranded.
But vehicles are machines which sometimes experience mechanical breakdowns. As your vehicle gets older and increases its kilometres, its parts may break, increasing the chances of an unexpected failure.
Having your vehicle suddenly break down is not only stressful because you’re without transport, but it can also be expensive to repair, especially if you haven’t budgeted for this unexpected repair cost.
In older vehicles, a manufacturer’s warranty may have expired, due to the age of the vehicle or its kilometres travelled, and the costs to repair the vehicle must be fully paid for by the owner.
The AA Monthly Warranty mechanical breakdown insurance plan addresses this issue and provides peace of mind to owners in the event of a breakdown.
