Why you need travel insurance

By taking out travel insurance you are essentially covering yourself against the risks of unexpected medical costs while travelling abroad.

Typically hospital admission requires an upfront guarantee of payment which can escalate quickly if payable in foreign currencies.

Chubb's travel insurance provides cover for whilst you're in hospital and for your attending doctors' fees, so you don't have to pay significant medical costs upfront and claim back later.

Furthermore, assistance services are provided to transport you to a suitable medical facility.

This isn't always the case with minor injuries, please contact us to confirm. (T&C's apply)
